Super easy to put together. It’s not terribly heavy which makes me nervous about it’s sturdiness. I’m 140lbs and it seems to be holding me well, but it’s only been about 2 days. I don’t like how short it is, I had to knot my swing in order to raise it so that it wouldn’t brush the ground. Overall, I’d recommend it, you’d just have to make it your own.*EDIT, after reading my review customer service responded immediately and offered a full refund. I couldn’t ask for a better resolution. Apparently I had just received the smaller A frame Thank you!Original review…The directions that came with the set were not for the set so we just had to use common sense, but the set was extremely easy to put together. However once assembled we found the dimensions for the product were not correct, the swing attachments hit the ground so there is no way to use 2 of them (the bench swing is adjustable) but any child that swings on the outer swings hits the side bar, and there is no place to hang the basketball net. After assembly we weren’t about to send the set back, so we had to spend additional money to buy swings that would work, and also the clips to attach them. Our grandson is a small 6, 43 lbs and this must be anchored down. He does love it now and asks to play on it daily, though the side bars still hurt him at times. On the plus side the main structure bars are heavy duty, no rust or damage, and the play pieces were of adequate quality. If not for the issues I would give this 4 stars based on value for the price. I’m considering purchasing again to get the correct one and using this one for a porch swing!I bought my grand daughter a saucer swing but didn’t have a reliable tree branch I trusted so I found this swing frame.. it’s perfect for a child’s swing.. love that you can hang from the middle or from the ends..This was pretty easy to build, but it was missing some lock nuts and washers, which was frustrating. I've spent a lot of time in a hammock chair reading, which has been glorious. One of the legs was dented and I had to bang it out to get it to fit into the other leg. Also, one of the "U" bolts is bent and I cannot get a replacement. There is sheer disappointment from the kids who were excited to get a swingset. I had to purchase another kind of bolt at Home Depot. BUMMER!!!!(I ilke the color black, it fits well in the childrens' garden)I had a left over spider web swing in my garage. I had once used it on my swingset in the middle between two other swings, but it was just a bit wide and it encroached on the space of potentially two other kids swimming in their ankles. That happened once, so I took it down and replaced it with something more suitable for the space, but hated giving up the spider web swing as the kids did love it. we don't have mature trees so this was our best option. I was actually really surprised by how easy this frame was to assemble. I do recommend using a rubber mallet to connect the poles, especially at the top of the frame. It comes with stakes that attach the poles to the ground, so once you find a space for it, this will help keep it in place. It has different hook locations so you could potentially use this frame for a variety of swings and configurations. The directions are horrible but after reading another persons comment I figured it out. The stakes it comes with are useless. One swing by my kids and the stakes came out of the ground. You have to get creative and go to the hardware store and find a better solution. The side railings are super flimsy. Once you get the right stakes and the swing set is proper secured it handles pretty well. For the price it’s great.Update: it turns out that the hardware kit provided with this item is exactly what is needed for assembly, unlike what I commented on below. The main issue is the instructions. They list the hardware kit incorrectly and it gives the impression that some of the bolts need to go through the uprights and that they should have a washer and a lock nut to secure them in place. This is not correct at all. The short 1 inch bolts go into a threaded hole in the post and do not protrude through to be secured with a lock nut. The issue that most people in other comments had was that the hardware kit was missing parts. That may be true in their case as it certainly looked to be the case for me. But had the instructions been more clear the assembly would have gone much smoother. I’ve upgraded from one star to three stars because I do not think the weight limit on this is accurate and with the assembly instruction issue I think it is worthy of only three stars. It is great for my seven year old though and more than adequate for indoor use or outdoor useI just received this product and so far I’m not impressed. Instructions are at best inadequate and the hardware package included matches what the instruction manual says should be there but it is woefully inadequate for this assembly. There should be 16 locknuts as there are 16 threaded ends that need them however only 10 are provided. Eight of the bolts are not even long enough to go through the tubes and two of the bolts are too long. It seems like this entire design completely bypassed engineering and was designed by somebody who really doesn’t know anything. I’ve emailed the company for either instructions on how to use their fasteners or which fasteners should have been provided because the ones I have will not assemble this swingset. Not even close. I will update my review if I can get this worked out with the manufacturer
