My boys absolutely love this bunk bed! The only problem is that it has a weight limit of 250 lbs. I’m always so fearful that it will break if him and his cousins would lay on it. But other than than, it’s a great bunk bed for the price. Our girls love it. The Only thing is that I wish the twin bed baseboards on top has wood that isn't finished well. If not careful you can get a splinter in your fingersWe purchased this bunk bed for our children. Ages 4 and 6. The bunk bed looks nice but did come with some mark ups. Also, the space between the bottom and top bunk is small. I doubt and adult could sleep comfortably there. We ended up building a spacer so that their was more space between the two beds.My kids love it and it seems to be solid materials. There are only two things that slightly concern me. 1: with enough force I'm sure you could break the top rail. 2: the slats that hold the mattresses aren't sanded so there's a potential for getting splinters in your hands. To add to my previous review above, I still stand by the fact that this is a good twin over full Bunk Bed being that it's less than $500. In the year I've owned it there are three things that reminds you this is a cheap Bunk Bed. 1: the top rail is only screwed into the wood. Eventually the screws ripped out of the wood. However, an easy fix for this it to get 1/4 - 20 x 1.18 in. (or x30mm) brass connector bolts and matching T-nuts to replace the old screws. 2: the wood scrars easily. 3: if the drawers are used on carpet the wheels rip out easily. Again, this is a cheap Bunk Bed, but it's solid where it counts. A 250 lb. parent could definitely sleep on the bottom Bunk with their child if they needed to so. A 150 lb. teenager could sleep on the top if they want to.This is a good item and worthy he purchase. The instructions could be better tho. You can get your sides mixed up easy.I would advise personal tools to be had to use for easier assembly. It looks great in the picture, but if you have a thick mattress, the height between the bottom bunk and top bunk is maybe 2 feet or so. Definitely not enough room for a teen to sit up. The mattresses shown in the product photo are pretty thin, so be aware of that.Would not recommend unless you like to guess where things go. Nothing is labeled as in part A goes with part B. Took way too long to put together. It’s more trial and error. We had missing screws had to go to the hardware store to buy what was missing. The quality of the frame is not the best had quite a bit of imperfections that were noticeable.
