At this price point, I think you’ll be quite happy with the audio aspect of these hearing amplifiers, which is most of the reason in which they are purchased. To hear better and more clearly. My husband’s only issue with this model of amplifiers, is the design. It looks just like some others we’ve tried, and maybe it’s more his ear itself then the device, but again we have tried others. One of the amplifiers (right side) doesn’t stay in and on his ear as well as the other side does ?♀️.We can’t figure out exactly why, as he swapped them, and it didn’t seem to matter. They look the same.. I don’t get it, but I’ve got to make note of this unusual circumstance. When sitting and watching TV, he was pretty much fine, but walking about there was a few mishaps, but I cannot say that this would or would not happen to somebody else purchasing these. Again, just noting it.The battery life is pretty good in comparison to other models in this price range. I noticed a lot of improvement with him during our conversations, which of course, is MOST important to me. I’m repeating myself continuously day & night, but a real set of hearing aids are not in the budget right now.Overall, they are of very good-great sound quality. Not the best we’ve tried, but far from the worst, and I can’t even tell you the price ranges right now, but there have been both cheaper and some more expensive models tested. There is always a great return policy with Amazon should you have any issues with your purchase, including (but not limited to) your personal fit with these amplifiers. For 30 days you are covered. They WILL make a difference. There is a lot of competition, buying on Amazon is always the best route when making such a purchase, but I’d say they are worth a try.**Oh, and my husband has mild-moderate hearing loss on one side/ moderate-severe on the other. These are NOT hearing aids, but they do help to ease frustration on both parties.. here being him and myself. You will notice the difference. Best for mild- moderate to slightly more severe loss. It seems to be helpful to both to some degree for him.**3.75 stars, rounded up to 4 stars! (All things considered.)⭐️⭐️⭐️ + 3/4** I hope my review has been helpful ?.**I liked that these have actual manual power buttons and aren't always instant-on when removed from their case. They also seem like real hearing aids and probably work well.Unfortunately, with only two sizes of the ear grommets and both being too small to make an airtight my seal in my ear canal I couldn't actually try them in my ears. I've been physically hurt by other hearing aids that I've tried which also did not have an airtight seal. That causes sound reverberation, resulting in a horribly loud, painful squeal right by the eardrum.Think about the infinite image seen when 2 mirrors face each other, but instead of a silent image, this is the amplified environmental sound echoing itself infinitely. I won't try anything that doesn't firstly, manual power off and secondly, it must make an airtight seal in my canal. I was able to cause these to squeal on lowest volumes 1 or 2, outside my ear of course.I'm sure they'd work, possibly very well because of the style, design, and manual power button. I won't know unless I can find larger compatible ear grommets. I'll think they're average for the good qualities but these aren't for bigger ears. I'm 6'2" for reference. 3 stars from me. Hope this can help. Take care.Thank you.my dad says these are good hearing amplifiers, not necessarily hearing aids, and that they come with a better battery life than the more expensive ones he had before. he says the adjustment features are very useful for him. modes are easy to switch between. These hearing amplifiers have a lot of power and a great battery life but I found them uncomfortable and that they didn't amplify certain voices well, particularly the higher end of female voices. The ear pieces just dug into my ears and none of the heads seemed to fit me well, but that's probably a personal biology thing, your experience may vary. The actual audio quality was middling for me, in particular certain voices just didn't come through well, certain tones turned into a buzz and it just didn't seem to notice others. They appeared to work fine otherwise though and did a good job amplifying middle pitched voices and sounds.I really like the lower profile charging case though, as opposed to the vertical lump most often seen with any sort of hearing devices or wireless ear buds, these are kind of a flat compact design and fit in a pocket much easier and more comfortably. These work but aren't the greatest and I think you can find better pretty easily at a similar or lower price point, but if they're on sale and you don't end up with the audio issues I had, they're probably a decent choice.Well, the case looks and feels kind of "cute" almost like a plump dumpling, but more importantly, it's a sleek, compact setup with everything you need to hear a bit better. These are amplifiers, not aids, so set your expectations and they can be helpful. Also remember to gradually adjust over days. These are $149.99 plus an extra $20 off today, which is worthwhile if it helps you get by without the far more expensive true hearing aids. Everything came nicely packaged in a sealed box. The gray is okay, but I wish other colors were available.
