Bike itself is kind of cool. Not crazy about the back basket. instructions for assembly are unreliable. After guessing what to do , then you can say "oh, that is what was meant." some steps were totally left out, others were misleading. By the time I got to the basket I was disgusted. The reflectors are not even the ones shown in the pictures, totally different.I really like this trike!!! I didn't even try to put it together myself. I took it straight to the bike store and they put it together!Though it folds in half (pleasant surprise), between how wide the basket is and the handle bars and wheels/spokes got intertwined in putting it in the back of my SUV. This was a bummer because I was hoping to take it on the bike trail. If I had one suggestion, it would be to decrease the basket several inches in width!I love the ease of changing gears and that the brakes and gears are on the handles!! This is quite convenient. If it wasn't as wide in the basket, which would make it easier to travel, I would give it ALL 5 Stars!!Great trike to stay balanced, ride and stop to catch breath without fear of falling!!The trike arrived very quickly. We had a few issues with the trike itself which could have been from packaging or shipping. Emailed customer service and got a response within 24 hrs! Jessica was very accomadating to our issues and resolved the problems quickly. The trike itself is great. Assembly of the trike wasn't the easiest thing & the manual shows more pictures than actual directions but if you take your time search some YouTube's you will get it. For the money this trike is a very good value & the customer service is top notch. Going uphill on any trike isn't easy. Rides smooth on paved as well as light gravel. It can turn pretty sharply without feeling like you are going tip over. We are thinking about purchasing a ebike kit which once complete will be well under the cost of an electric trike. We purchased the 24", 7 speed foldable model.Very pleased with the purchase! Please do not waste your money. The issues with this bike are countless and the company itself is even worse. This tricycle was a Christmas gift for my disabled 15yo daughter. She has Cerebral Palsy which causes weakness on one side of her body so riding a bicycle is difficult for her. She was so excited when she saw it but we live in New England so she was just recently able to ride it and the bike just keeps getting worse. When I built it I realized that I wasn’t mailed all the parts needed so I had to hunt them down myself. It also found out that the bike chipped very easily and when it did chip the frame under the paint was all rusted. I contacted the company and they did give me a partial refund for the items I needed to buy out of pocket. Unfortunately the rest of the issues weren’t realized until now so I can no longer return it. If I could I would. The seat doesn’t stay in place, the handlebars move, the back brakes do not work, the derailer for the chain doesn’t work to switch gears, the basket constantly pops apart so I had to zip tie it together, the pedals always come unscrewed and fall off while she is riding and even though she has only been on it a handful of times the chain has already snapped in half. I reached out to the company to make them aware and to see what the warranty covered and the only response I received said “Thank you for your letter. Here is the link to purchase the replacement chain.” I am so incredibly disappointed but not as upset as my daughter her is now crying. A gift from Santa should not be the cause of her tears yet here we are.I like the mountain-bike-like tires, sturdiness of the basket and that it came with a bell. I’ve struggled with it on the directions for the rear brake, gear wiring and the chain broke first time out. Plus, most places don’t repair tricycles “because they are difficult and more damage can be done to them then repair.”Has a smooth ride. Anyone 5'10" or taller will have to extend out the seat pretty far. Would suggest a seat extension that allows one to seat back a bit further from the handlebars. The basket is huge and allows for plenty of room for a 13-20 lb animal. This is a foldable front wheel bike which is handy when traveling but is a snug fit in my Chevy Equinox. I did pay for bike assembly at a bike shop and it was well worth the price of $150. Happy riding!Quality is very good but to heavy and hard to fold for elderly personFirst, I’m pretty handy and have never in my life had difficulty putting something together. Assembling this bike was beyond a nightmare. First, the wrong chain was included. 5” to short. After struggling why I couldn’t put on the chain, I took it to bike shop. They had to add 5” to the chain. They also told me the derailer was defective. So I had to order a new one from Amazon. The directions to assemble the shifting mechanism were woefully poor. After hours of frustration, back to the bike shop. The directions also called for assembly of rear-wheel covers which were not included. I contacted the vender who said they aren’t supposed to be for this model. So, after the wrong chain, a defective part, terrible instructions, two trips to the bike shop and nearly $100 out of pocket expenses, it’s all together. Seems to be a nice bike but I’d never do it again.
