I'll be quite honest, there are a number of limitations that come with using a hoverboard as part of a go-kart style configuration. For one, handling is going to be a bit wonky. If you have any experience with hoverboards, this shouldn't come as a surprise. So there will be a slight learning curve to this as you get familiar with moving around naturally--and not spinning in circles or bouncing between forward or reverse as you are trying to find a way to stop. If you have experience with these boards, then the process will be much easier.Then you have speed. You aren't going to go racing with this as it isn't going to go flying down the road. It goes the average speed of a hoverboard (clearly). Instead, it is meant to be an affordable solution for kids mostly, that is going to allow them to have a LOT of fun. Adults too, but with limitations as it will be easier to bottom out the front end with that kind of weight and limited mobility due to the size of body crammed into the space offered.It should provide hours of fun for kids though, as long as you make sure they take the time to learn how to control it properly without dragging the front end all over the place and damaged the board. It is advised to use it on large sidewalks and other smooth surfaces for this reason, as asphalt will gobble the plastic up pretty quickly if you are sloppy with it (we have experienced it ourselves, which led to some funny laughs as everyone watched it happen).Again, our scoring of this is purely based on price vs fun factor than anything else. It is NOT going to be a super-fast crazy drifting device flying around corners. If you want that, you'll want to go the route of those Crazy Carts or something or a hobby-built gas-powered super cart. For this, it's simply an affordable solution to keep kids entertained. Which also functions as a dual device since it is a hoverboard before anything else. So you are getting a hoverboard + a sort of go-kart.The instructions are about as useless as fishing without a hook or bait. Don't take them serious and use them as a brief idea of where to start as you'll be filling in the blanks yourself. There's nothing that shows the washers in the contents or the diagrams but you can figure it out on your own. They show the handles attached to the brackets with the straps but not exactly how the brackets with the straps attach to the base. It also doesn't show the two bolts that accomplish this in the content list where the diagrams because it thinks that those two brackets with straps come already assembled to the frame which is not the case. So clearly the instructions were printed before they decided to re-approach how it was pre-assembled or packaged to save space in the box.The welding job on the brackets with the straps is questionable but it doesn't get in the way of anything. It just looks like things weren't properly lined up. It doesn't change the operation of the kit nor does it look like anything is going to come apart. Just an OCD observation.Again, this is an affordable approach to a go-kart solution that is also a hoverboard. A two in one for the general entertainment of young ones. For us, it was a bunch of adults trying to get the most out of it, leading to some pretty funny moments and failures for those that didn't have any experience with hoverboards before and lack the ability to listen to the person next to them saying "whatever you do, just don't.....nevermind...you just did it" (scrape scrape scrape).There is a lot of fun to be had with this kit.
