Great bunk bed for me and my 3 year old daughter. I set it up all by myself, took me 4 hours and my hands hurt but I feel accomplished ? the bed is great, the only thing I'm worried about is the bars that are under the mattresses are hollow so I hope they don't bend after long use. But I'm pretty happy about the bunkbed and so is my daughterI bought this bunk bed for kids, the heavy weight load that was promised in the description assured me that this would hold up to rambunctious kids that forget to be careful. That has not been the case. The assembly took time but I was able to handle it with minimal assistance from a child. The overall frame has performed admirably but the hollow bars that actually support the mattresses have not. We just took the time yesterday to hammer them all straight again after moving the bed to a new house. Again, the disassembly and reassembly went well, it was just the bars that frustrate me.If you’ve managed to raise kids that can resist monkeying around on a metal bunk bed, or have teens or adults on the bed, you will likely be fine. Otherwise, plan to put down additional support.DamagedWell sturdiness wise, i love it. I love that it has the extra supports at the bottom. Wasnt too bad too put together. My husband and i put it together fairly easy. Be careful putting the top posts on. My husband did gdt confused of the wholes not lining up only to find out he put it on backwards. The only way to tell it was that the one side towards the top has wholes, the other side doesnt because thats where the ladder goes. The instructions were pretty self explanatory. Over all a good bed and a good deal. It doesnt shake much at all being on the top bunk so no disturbance to the bottom person. I will be purchasing a second one for my boys room. One flaw, it could be taller.This bed is very nice, sturdy, and a great value. It's a little shorter than expected but my kids love it and it will take up less of the room so that I can install a ceiling fan! We experienced some problems with shipping and arriving late. Also, damaged the product but it is not structural damage so the bed was still good. The company was very helpful in this matter and offered help in a quick response! Thanks to that I am happy with my purchase.Perfect for my grandkids but if you are not a person who puts these together then you are not going to like this. The tools they send with dont fit the screws and some of the pre drilled holes are too small( square shaped) and need to be made bigger for screws to go in. So putting the bed together is not as easy as they say.This bed wasn't even worth the money spent on it. The materials were very cheap. The metal was hollow and very weak. I bought this bed for my nephew who weighs about 80 pounds and the bottom frame bent. The bed wobbles and make noises when you sit on it. This was such a waste of my money.. WARNING!!! Don't buy from a third party because they WILL give you the run around about returns. Plus you have to pay for shipping to receive it and PAY shipping to send it back. Once they receive it then they will decide "IF" they will refund you your money...Such a rip off!!!..... ALWAYS BUY PRIME!!!Make sure to have 2 adults for assembly. It is definitely not a one person job mostly because the awkwardness of the pieces. When you lay on the bottom bunk you can feel the entire bed shake a bit when the kids are playing on top; however, it feels as sturdy as any bunk I have encountered. Both kids are under 40 lbs.
