The Fun Costumes Plants Vs Zombies Peashooter Costume for Adults Our top priority is bringing you amazing costumes based on all of your favorite characters! This time, we took a little inspiration from the hit video game series, Plants Vs Zombies. This Adult Peashooter Costume recreates the iconic look of the common unit in the mobile game. Product Design: It's time to wage war on those pesky zombies! This Plants Vs Zombies Peashooter Costume lets you step into the role of the Peashooter. The simple jumpsuit is made out of a comfy velour material and fits with a zipper down the back. The matching green mitts and booties are both shaped like leaves and the entire costume is topped off with a padded headpiece. The headpiece features mesh netting in the mouth for vision (vision still may be impaired while wearing). Once you have it on, you'll be ready to defend the home from any zombie attacks! I ordered two of the Peashooter costumes for us - mom (5'6") and dad (6'1" and heavy). (I also ordered the child’s zombie costume for our son). I worried about the adult costumes came in only one size fits all so that it may not fit my wife (costume too big) or me (costume too small). Turns out that the costumes fit both of us just fine (although anyone taller/heavier than me may find the costume too snug). The reason I ordered the two adult peashooters was that there was no adult version of the sunflower character- my son wanted to be the zombie and us parents the 'enemy' plants. Please for Halloween 2019, add several more characters (e.g. vampire flower or Jade Cactus for the plant side and the pirate, scientist or engineer zombie for the zombie side). One major drawback that I did anticipate was how much one’s vision was blocked. The headpiece is constructed with a small fine mesh window at the end of the Peashooter’s snout to see out of. When inside the headpiece, this fine mesh window is about a foot away from one’s face (most costumes of this nature, the mesh window is right next to one’s face) giving the wearing extreme tunnel vision. In addition, the snout often sags down, so one is constantly having to readjust the headpiece in order to see forward. The net effect of this is one will often side bump into other people at a crowded party. In addition, one has to be careful not to trip on any steps, or uneven sidewalks (One DOES NOT want to be wearing the headpiece when walking along a road at night while trying to watch one’s child trick or treat in a neighborhood). I suggest that the costume makers can address this by 1) widen the mouth so a bigger mesh piece and 2) work some supporting rods into the snout to eliminate the sagging.A minor issue was how hot it got when wearing the full costume (mittens, bodysuit and full headpiece). I quickly decided after the first outing with the costume, it was fine wearing just socks/slippers and underpants.I reduced the rating by a star because of these drawbacks. Now to the fun stuff. My wife, son and I had a blast on Halloween night we went to Bellevue Square Mall (WA) Halloween event where the merchants handed out candy… a very crowded event. The moment we entered the mall in full costume, we received many looks. People familiar with the PvZ games appeared excited seeing us and I overheard a lot of comments along the lines of cool, awesome, great, etc. Other families often stopped us because they wanted to use us as props to take pictures of us with them or their children. My wife and I joked afterwards that we should have charged a nominal fee for these photo ops). Most importantly, our son who is a fan of the PvZ series had a blast being the zombie 'fighting' us Parental Plants.I’m 5’4” and this has a lot of room If your pretty tall. Very cute and well madeI am 5'6" and was was swimming a bit. The head dress was hard to see out of and it came all smashed.Love! My son was adorable in this. It made him so happy. My son was excited to receive his costume. My son loves it!I got the adult one and if you are a PvZ fan then these costumes are perfect. he loves to have his friends of and play dress up and act out the game. I love the costume, it was pretty good quality. The head had to be re-shaped but it was easy to do by stuffing some towels inside for about 24 hours to make if puss out after being shipped flat.My son just HAD TO HAVE IT! It was warm, quality material uses and dita nicely.Good costume, had to pack the head with paper to get the shape after postage as had gone flat and out of shape, all good back in shape and good for the price, fits adults and older children so much fun! This costume is amazing!! My son loves it!!! Just wish that they had sizes in between kids 6 and adult.
