I thought it would stop water from going in my ears. It doesn’t. But it does hold my ear plugs in my ears. I was hoping ear plugs wouldn’t be needed. It’s a well made piece of swimming gear for me. I do like itRight before a big family trip to a lake nearby, my son was diagnosed with "swimmer's ear." He wakeboards and planned to be in the water a ton on our trip, so this was very disappointing news. We started his medication and three days into it, he was improving, but we still needed to ensure no additional water got into that ear. We searched and found your product. It arrived overnight! What a blessing! Your headband coupled with the silicone ear plug was a game changer. He was able to participate in all our water activities and fun. The combo kept the water out, and his ear completely healed. Only thing we'd like to share was that he experienced a little frustration when diving into the water and the band would slip down on occasion. We adjusted, but it continued to slip intermittently. Just wanted you to know. Overall - it was still a tremendous help to us. Thank you!Aside from holding your hair back, this doesn't do much. It doesn't keep water out of your ears. It feels funny with the waxy plugs that come with it (they were too big to stay in my ears). The band became waterlogged which kept water in my ears. Not useful for meIt was missing the ear plugs that were supposed to be included.Works well. Ear stays dry when swimming.snug fit without pulling hairI used this product for my child (7) to go over ear plugs that she was wearing to prevent ear infection. She was able to go on water slides and in the pool with these all day with no complaining of discomfort and minimal adjustment needed. I ordered the adults-12 years one and it actually fit her fine. She has always had a larger diameter head and the strap is adjustable so it fit fine and stayed on. I ordered the teal with the leopard print which looks very fashionable and blends in like a regular headband. I was able to position it also so that she could keep her stud earrings on but still cover up the ear opening. The product also came very quickly (1 day turnaround from ordering) which was a plus since we needed it for a trip.I like the band, I wish they had sent the color choice I had selected. I received the floral pattern when I had selected the blue band. Other than that snafu, we will see how well it works.
