I gave myself this challenge cause I love to know how far I can go if I want to. It's hard but I believe in me, lol.I enjoyed this puzzle a lot. My wife and I typically attempt many under 2000 pieces so I was happy to find a smaller puzzle that was still challenging.Unfortunately I let the excitement get ahead of me and preemptively purchased a 20x27 inch frame. After I finished the puzzle I opened the frame and found out that my puzzle is NOT the listed size and will not fit in the frame as it is too long on one side.Note that the box does say "approx" above the inches measurement but even the Amazon listing shows the incorrect size more than once. I'm still satisfied with the puzzle, just not thrilled to have to find another frame.I bought this as a gift for a friend of mine who absolutely loves puzzles. He has had it for 3 months now and only has about 30 piece put together. This puzzle is definitely challenging and probably would not be suitable for the beginner. He loves it and can't wait to finish it and move on to another difficult puzzle.Intense and challenging puzzle. Definitely needed the worksheet to follow since all pieces are black. Easy to snap in place, and all puzzle pieces included. I’ve purchased a Ravensburger in the past. Satisfied with both purchases.This puzzle is so much fun, and so irritating. First of all, it's all black, so it ceases to be about color and instead is about shape. Then what makes that frustrating is that the shapes are not necessarily "traditional" puzzle shapes! Even the border is a challenge. Then on top of THAT, the pieces that fit together are not necessarily the same length on the same side! I did the border first, then focused on the circular pattern, then the rest. I'm pretty anal, so I also separated the pieces according to shape. Traditional shape, then curved pieces, then totally wacked out shapes. A great thing to work on during the coronavirus lockdown! I worked on mine 2 hours at a time.My wife went through about 7 jigsaw puzzles already (her new hobby), and her average record time was about 1.5 weeks (a mini jigsaw puzzle took about 3). Give it a week if she's really engrossed. I suggested she find one that's completely dark and possesses no tells, considering the previous ones had plenty. This one is taking her about 1.5 months already, and she's still enjoying it. It did come with 2 slightly damaged pieces (some of the edges were a little bent back), but otherwise it finally got her to actually slow down, and consider the placements more carefully.As others pointed out there’s an error near the center, thanks for that tip!Overall I was excited for this challenge but I guess my system worked too well, because this only took a couple days. I enjoyed it.My tip is once you place all the weird pieces and extremely large ones, focus only on the pieces not shaped like an H or an elongated H. Separate them by shape and ignore the H’s completely until the end.One piece was pretty mangled that sucked.If you like hard puzzles, this it a great one. I’ve done the silver and the black (this one) and the layout change between the two, more square/rectangle grid on this with less of a circular section, definitely increased the difficulty a bit. Didn’t use the included guide (why would you? ?) or the image on the box and probably took 25-30 hours over the course of 8 days.Oder als Geschenk an Menschen denen man insgeheim nichts Gutes wünscht.Der Rahmen war noch ok, innerhalb von etwa 3 ermüdenden Puzzle Sessions á 2-4 Stunden lag der Rahmen da. Dann kam die Mitte. Hier gab es auch noch einige markante Teilchen und nach weiteren 12-16 Stunden Puzzlespaß für Freunde der Selbstgeißelung, nahmen wir uns die Bereiche dazwischen vor. Das war dann die Hölle! Ich werde in den nächsten Jahren kein Puzzle mehr anfassen können ohne düstere Gedanken an die nicht enden wollenden Tage und Wochen voller Verzweiflung und Wut, rund um meinen Wohnzimmertisch.Aber was will man erwarten bei einem schwarzen Puzzle? The pieces are of good quality, as expected from Ravensburger. I would have liked it to have more pieces, to make it more challenging.I started it one afternoon, and finished it early the following evening, slightly disappointed as I expected it to take quite a bit longer, I did use the puzzle guide inside the box (never heard of one of those before), which acted like a 'picture' on a 'normal' jigsaw puzzle; although the guide had a couple of errors on it, it made completing the jigsaw a lot quicker. I am thinking of doing it again without using the puzzle guide, to see how long it takes me. Overall for the price I think it's good value....wer eine Herausforderung in der Puzzlewelt sucht undmit viel Geduld gesegnet ist kann ohne weitere Überlegung auf "In den Einkaufswagen" klicken...viel Frust für kleines Geld.Die Ränder und Mitte sind eigentlich `ne schnelle Nummer, sobald allerdings die markanten Teile weitestgehendverbaut sind nimmt das Elend seinen Lauf...nein, nein, nein, nein, nein, nein, nein, nein, nein,......ja??? JA!Den Umschlag mit der "Lösungshilfe" kann man getrost öffnen ohne das Gefühl zu haben man betrügt sich selbst...von einer echten Hilfe kann nicht die Rede sein.Sobald man alle Steine aus dem Weg geräumt hat, die Ravensburger einem in den Selben legt und sich dasEndergebnis betrachtet darf man sich mehrmals auf die Schulter klopfen!Werde mir gleich das Goldene zukommen lassen....viel schlimmer kann es nicht werden.grusse!P.S.
